Minecraft 26.1 Snapshot 10

In this week’s update, players can look forward to a series of enhancements designed to enrich their gaming experience. Among the most notable changes is the introduction of new particle effects for the Golden Dandelion, which now visually indicates whether it is preserving the youth of your mobs or reintroducing the concept of aging into their pixelated existence. Additionally, the heads of baby zombie mobs have been resized for a more proportionate appearance, alongside a host of bug fixes that continue to refine gameplay.

Changes

  • Rectified a pixel gap in the Snifflet texture.
  • Ensured that baby Striders now have animated bristles.
  • Striders will now accurately inherit warmth from the Strider they are standing on, aligning with Bedrock functionality.
  • Reduced the head size of the following baby mob models:
    • Zombie
    • Husk
    • Drowned
  • The Golden Dandelion now displays distinct particles based on its use in aging:
    • When aging is halted, green particles will drift downwards.
    • When aging resumes, green particles will ascend.
  • Small Armor Stands will now correctly display adult armor scaled down to size.

UI

  • IME input will be canceled if no screens are open.
  • IME will activate when a text input gains focus and deactivate when it loses focus.
  • A new debug entry for <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>sound_cache has been added.
