Today marks the release of our third pre-release, featuring a series of minor technical adjustments and essential bug fixes aimed at enhancing user experience. As we continue to refine our offerings, we invite our community to engage in the mining adventure ahead.

- The <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>count field now operates within a refined range of <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>0 to <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>4096, an increase from the previous limit of <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>256.
Fixed Bugs in 26.1 Pre-Release 3
- MC-305118 – Resolved an issue where resource packs labeled as “Broken or incompatible” were not appearing.
- MC-306240 – Corrected the behavior of the /fill command, ensuring it adheres to the maxblockmodifications game rule when excessive blocks are specified.
- MC-306620 – Fixed a bug where feeding a snifflet with a golden dandelion incorrectly reset its age to an inappropriate number of ticks.
- MC-306805 – Adjusted the arm positioning of baby zombie villagers, ensuring they move correctly while holding items.
- MC-306840 – Addressed the issue of dolphins drowning when no players are nearby.
- MC-306850 – The noise settings for <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>caves and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>floating_islands are now functioning as intended.
- MC-306854 – Clarified discrepancies in villager trades between versions 1.21.11 and 26.1 snapshots.
- MC-306859 – Resolved clipping issues with the arms of baby zombies, baby husks, gurgles, and baby zombie villagers when holding items.
- MC-306860 – Ensured that player object text components in server status messages (MotD) are no longer replaced by fallback text.
- MC-306898 – Limited placed/configured features to only 256 tries, correcting previous higher allowances.
- MC-306899 – Fixed the inverted blocklists for the <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>firepatch and <span class="MCEffectTextHighlightA”>soulfire_patch features, resolving generation issues.
Get the Pre-Release
The latest Pre-Releases are now available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install, simply open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. Please note that testing versions can potentially corrupt your world, so it is advisable to back up your data and/or run these versions in a separate folder from your main worlds.
