Pokémon Champions Game Released April 8 for Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android

Pokémon Champions Set to Release on April 8, 2026

The Pokémon Company has officially announced the upcoming release of their latest game, Pokémon Champions, scheduled to launch on April 8, 2026. The game will be available for Nintendo Switch, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.

Pokémon Champions offers a battle-style gameplay that stays true to the classic Pokémon experience, incorporating familiar mechanics such as Pokémon types, Abilities, and various moves that allow for diverse battle strategies.

Players can choose from the standard version of the game or opt for the bundle package, Pokémon Champions + Starter Pack, which includes additional in-game bonuses like expanded Pokémon storage capacity and extra battle songs.

Excitingly, Nintendo Switch 2 users can look forward to free updates that will enhance the graphics quality of the game.

One of the standout features of Pokémon Champions is its cross-platform support, enabling players to engage in battles across different devices, bridging the gap between consoles and mobile gaming. Additionally, the game is integrated with Pokémon HOME, allowing players to transfer Pokémon from previous games, including those from Pokémon GO.

Introducing new Mega Evolutions from Pokémon Legends: Z-A, Pokémon Champions brings Mega Meganium, Mega Emboar, and Mega Feraligatr to the forefront. Each Mega Evolution comes with unique Abilities that add depth to the gameplay experience.

With a variety of game modes available, from Ranked Battles for competitive players to Casual Battles for a more laid-back gaming session, Pokémon Champions promises to offer something for every type of player.
