Polls will appear in the Max messenger before the May holidays

The national digital platform is set to enhance its offerings with features that have become commonplace in popular messaging apps like Telegram and VKontakte. According to a source from the development team, group chat polls and a tool for creating custom sticker packs are expected to be rolled out before the May holidays. Additionally, the testing phase for comments in channels is anticipated to conclude by summer, as reported by RIA Novosti.

While the press service of the Max messenger has not confirmed the specific timeline for these updates, they have acknowledged that significant work is underway in these areas. As of early April, the platform boasts an impressive 110 million registered users, with over 80 million logging in daily.

In the wake of the blocking and throttling of Western services, Max has emerged as a primary beneficiary of the shift among the Russian audience. However, to fully replace the familiar communication tools that users have come to rely on, the platform has needed to incorporate essential community features. These include the ability to vote in chats, engage in discussions about posts, and express creativity through stickers.
