The company has now acknowledged that the upcoming year is indeed “packed with incredible games,” including the aforementioned blockbuster.

The term “packed” may be a slight exaggeration when considering the lineup shared by the official Xbox account on X. The list includes notable titles such as:
- Halo: Campaign Evolved
- Gears of War: E-Day
- Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4
- Control Resonant
- Star Wars: Galactic Racer
- Grand Theft Auto 6
While it’s true that Modern Warfare 4 is poised to dominate the gaming landscape, the overall slate of releases seems to allow room for a significant title like Fable—except, of course, for the presence of one major competitor.
Microsoft has stated, “In order to plan our game launches through the holidays, we’re moving Fable to February 2027 so it can have the dedicated moment it deserves.” This strategic shift aims to ensure that Fable receives the attention it merits upon release.
