For quite some time, one of Microsoft’s most lauded free applications has remained ensnared by regional limitations. The journey of PC Manager from its beta inception to a general release in 2024 has been a lengthy one, spanning over two years. However, even after an additional two years, the app continues to be accessible only to a select audience.
Despite its availability for years, PC Manager has yet to officially grace my region. Following a couple of discussions led by our Editor-in-Chief, Daniel Rubino, I took it upon myself to install PC Manager, undeterred by its limited rollout. The official website for the app merely states “Coming Soon,” leaving many users in anticipation.
While some users have found ways to circumvent Microsoft’s restrictions by altering their region settings or sourcing the app from alternative platforms, this workaround should not be necessary. Microsoft has had ample time to assess any potential issues with PC Manager, and it seems only logical to expand its availability to a broader audience.
