New To-Do List Functionality
In the latest version of Google Keep (v5.26.341.03.90), users can now seamlessly integrate to-do lists into their notes. This quality-of-life enhancement enables individuals to jot down tasks without having to convert an entire note into a checklist format. Instead, users can simply convert a single line from their notes into a to-do item, maintaining the flexibility of their documentation.
Previously, tapping the checkbox icon would transform the entire note into a to-do list, with each line becoming a separate checkbox. The new feature changes this dynamic, allowing users to toggle only the currently active line into a to-do item. This means that users can now mix standard text and task lists within the same note, enhancing their organizational capabilities.
