GameCube emulator Dolphin will bring Android gamers a new reason to play

Dolphin Emulator Adds Achievement Support with RetroAchievements

Console emulators and smartphones have a long history together, offering users the ability to play classic games on the go. Dolphin, a popular emulator, has taken things a step further by introducing support for gaming achievements through a collaboration with RetroAchievements.

RetroAchievements is a platform that partners with emulator developers to create achievement sets for old games. With this new feature, Dolphin users can track their progress and compete for achievements in over 100 GameCube titles.

While the achievement support is currently available on PC, Android users can look forward to this feature in the near future. The Dolphin team is working on resolving UI and network code issues to ensure a smooth experience for Android gamers.

Although Wii games may also receive achievement support in the future, the focus for now remains on expanding RetroAchievements for GameCube titles.
