Japanese entertainment merchandise company InfoLens has recently announced the opening of preorders for two exciting new products inspired by the beloved game Minecraft. The offerings include a Lantern Light and a Metal Water Bottle with Handle, both officially licensed and designed to bring a touch of the Minecraft universe into everyday life.
Product Highlights
The Lantern Light captures the game’s iconic blocky aesthetic, allowing fans to enjoy its warm orange glow reminiscent of a traditional Lantern, as well as the ethereal blue flame of a Soul Lantern. Priced at 6,996 yen, including tax, this versatile light is set to launch in late January 2027. It features a square outer frame and a glowing center, making it a perfect addition to any desk or shelf. For those who prefer to hang their decor, an included chain offers that option as well.
With four lighting modes available—steady and flickering effects for both the orange and blue settings—the Lantern Light is designed for ambiance. It also comes equipped with a two-hour automatic shutoff timer and can be powered by batteries or USB Type-C. Its IPX4 water-resistance rating ensures it can comfortably sit beside a gaming setup, though users might find themselves yearning for a Crafting Table and Iron Nuggets to complete the experience.
On the other hand, the Metal Water Bottle with Handle presents a sleek silver stainless-steel body adorned with familiar Minecraft imagery, including Grass Blocks, swords, pickaxes, and TNT. This product is priced at 4,400 yen, including tax, and is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026. The bottle features a convenient green handle on the cap for easy transport, although InfoLens advises against using it in dishwashers, dish dryers, or microwaves. Additionally, it incorporates a direct-drink opening, requiring extra caution when filled with hot liquids.
