The independent test, conducted from August 12 to 22, assessed NordVPN’s capabilities against 250 active phishing URLs. In a crucial aspect of the evaluation, the software was also tested against 250 legitimate URLs to gauge its accuracy. Remarkably, NordVPN recorded zero false positives, showcasing its ability to differentiate between safe websites and malicious traps with flawless precision.
As phishing attacks continue to evolve, utilizing deceptive emails, texts, or counterfeit websites to extract sensitive information, having a reliable automated safety net becomes essential.
