3D capture firm Clear Angle establishes new studio in LA

Clear Angle Studios, a prominent player in the realm of 3D capture and processing, has recently inaugurated a new studio in Culver City, Los Angeles. This strategic move is already yielding fruitful collaborations, as the studio dives into three game projects alongside five significant film productions.

Expansion and Future Plans

Founded in 2013 and headquartered at the renowned Pinewood Studios in the UK, Clear Angle has expanded its footprint with additional studios in Atlanta and Vancouver. The company is not resting on its laurels; ambitious plans are in place to establish offices in Asia and Australasia in the near future.

Dominic Ridley, CEO and co-founder, expressed enthusiasm about this latest development. “This is an exciting step in the growth of Clear Angle Studios,” he stated. “We have seen an increase in demand for our services in LA, particularly to make face and full body scanning more convenient for locally based talent. It made sense for us to open a permanent hub here.”

Ridley further highlighted the promising projects already in motion since their arrival in Culver City, hinting at a robust pipeline of work that is expected to flourish in 2025 and beyond.
