All 2XKO Ranks – how to access ranked mode

After dedicating countless hours to mastering tutorials and perfecting combos, players are now poised to enter the competitive arena of 2XKO. However, the path to ranked play is not immediately accessible; newcomers must first demonstrate their skills before they can ascend the ranked ladder.

As players accumulate Ranked Points (RP) through victories, they will face increasingly formidable opponents, ultimately challenging tournament-level players. Navigating the 2XKO ranks can be a daunting task, but utilizing the 2XKO tier list can provide insights into which champions are currently dominating the competition.

2XKO ranked mode explained

To gain access to the ranked mode in 2XKO, players must first achieve account level three. This milestone can be reached simply by engaging with the game, whether through completing challenges or participating in casual matches, as all experience contributes to leveling up.

If you have reached account level three but still do not see the ranked mode option, it may be due to its official launch date of Thursday, October 9, 2025. Although this mode was previously available during the closed beta, any progress made during that time has been reset.

Ranked battles differ from casual matches, as they are limited to a best-of-three format. Players are not obligated to offer their opponents a rematch, though doing so may lead to some frustration if they are defeated swiftly. Should players opt for a best-of-three, they have the opportunity to switch champions between matches, allowing for strategic counterpicking.

All 2XKO ranks

The 2XKO ranking system comprises 11 distinct ranks, most of which are divided into three tiers:

  • Aspirant (I, II, III)
  • Bronze (I, II, III)
  • Iron (I, II, III)
  • Silver (I, II, III)
  • Gold (I, II, III)
  • Platinum (I, II, III)
  • Emerald (I, II, III)
  • Diamond (I, II, III)
  • Master (I, II, III)
  • Grandmaster
  • Challenger

At the outset, players will undergo placement matches to ascertain their appropriate rank on the ladder. A total of five matches will determine their initial placement, after which they will be assigned to a lobby that aligns with their skill level.

To ascend the ranks, players must earn 100 RP through victories in ranked games. Starting at 0 RP from their assigned rank and tier, they can climb higher. While players cannot be demoted from their overall rank, they may lose tier status if they accumulate enough losses. Should a player find themselves nearing the critical 0 RP threshold, they will receive a final opportunity to retain their rank. A loss at 0 RP results in demotion to a lower tier.

Ranks are reset each season, meaning that a player’s standing in Season 0 does not carry over into subsequent seasons.

Are there ranked rewards?

Indeed, the 2XKO support page confirms the existence of exclusive ranked rewards. However, the specifics of these rewards remain undisclosed at this time. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

With this understanding of the 2XKO ranked system, players can better prepare for their journey through the competitive landscape. Additionally, exploring the roster of 2XKO characters, including potential future champions, may enhance the gaming experience even further.
