Beats x Minecraft Collaboration Unveils Special Edition Solo 4 Headphones
Apple’s Beats brand has joined forces with Minecraft to introduce a special edition version of Beats Solo 4 headphones. These headphones, which feature classic Minecraft designs, are a unique twist on the popular Beats Solo 4 model.
In addition to the pixelated Minecraft touches, the new Beats Solo 4 headphones showcase the Minecraft logo on the top headband and include design elements on the carrying case. The iconic “Creeper” character from Minecraft can also be found on the inner headband.
The collaboration between Beats and Minecraft is in honor of Minecraft’s 15th anniversary. According to Beats, this exclusive partnership highlights the connection between music and creativity, which are core values of both brands. Customers who purchase the Beats x Minecraft Solo 4 headphones will receive a unique code to redeem an in-game headphone character creator item. Additionally, Minecraft content creator TinaKitten will curate a Spatial Audio playlist exclusively on Apple Music.
To kick off the campaign, Beats and Minecraft are inviting the local community to Apple Fifth Ave in New York on July 18th for a special event featuring TinaKitten and Apple Music Radio host Travis Mills. This event, part of Apple’s Today at Apple programming, will focus on creativity, self-expression, and connection.
When I reviewed the Beats Solo 4 earlier, I commended them for being a well-executed update to a popular product. The improvements made were necessary, and the unchanged price of 9.99 was a key factor in their success.
The new Beats x Minecraft Special Edition Solo 4 headphones will also be priced at 9.99 and will be available on Apple’s website, Target, and select Apple Store locations starting July 18.
