Beats Collaborates with Minecraft for Special Edition Headphones
Apple-owned Beats has announced a unique collaboration with Minecraft to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the popular game. The outcome of this partnership is a special edition of the Beats Solo 4 headphones, priced at 0/£200.
The headphones boast a pixelated design, in line with the Minecraft aesthetic, and come with metallic green hinges. Additionally, the headphones feature the iconic Creeper character from the game.
Customers who purchase these special edition headphones will receive a code to redeem an exclusive in-game ‘headphone character’ item. To add to the celebration, an animated short film featuring Imagine Dragons has been released.
Impressive Features of the Beats Solo 4 Headphones
The Beats Solo 4 headphones were introduced earlier this year, marking almost a decade since the launch of the Beats Solo 3. These headphones offer an impressive 50 hours of battery life, making them a reliable choice for music enthusiasts.
Audio quality is a key focus of the Solo 4 headphones, with 40mm transducers and Personalized Spatial Audio that includes dynamic head tracking for an immersive sound experience. Users can also enjoy lossless audio when using a wired connection with USB-C.
Compared to Apple’s AirPods Max, the Solo 4 headphones offer a compelling alternative, while Beats’ Studio Pro headphones also remain a popular choice among consumers.
Availability in the US and UK
In the US, the special edition Beats Solo 4 headphones can be purchased online through Apple and Target. In the UK, these headphones are exclusively available at EE retail stores for a limited time. Customers can purchase them online or visit EE’s flagship store in Westfield White City, London, starting from 3pm on 18 July.
