CHARTS: New content brings Marvel Rivals back to Steam Top Ten

Marvel Rivals has made a triumphant return to the Top Ten on Steam, propelled by a significant influx of new content. The hero shooter surged to the third highest grossing title on the platform last week, climbing eight spots following the launch of its second season on April 8th, which introduced a new character, Emma Frost.

Steam Rankings Overview

In the competitive landscape of Steam, Counter-Strike 2 maintained its position as the leading title, while the Early Access crime adventure, Schedule 1, secured the second spot for the second consecutive week. Valve’s innovative Steam Deck hardware continued to impress, holding steady at No. 4, just ahead of PUBG: Battlegrounds, which experienced a remarkable ascent of 14 positions to claim fifth place.

Meanwhile, the co-op horror game REPO slipped three spots to No. 6, yet it still outperformed the iconic Red Dead Redemption 2, which climbed six places to seventh, buoyed by an enticing 75 percent discount. The improvements in Elon Musk’s favored game, Path of Exile 2, have reinvigorated interest, allowing it to re-enter the Top Ten at eighth place. Additionally, a 20 percent discount on Baldur’s Gate 3 propelled it a staggering 26 spots upward to ninth. Rounding out the Top Ten, Monster Hunter Wilds fell three positions.
