CHARTS: New update helps No Man’s Sky return to Top Ten

No Man’s Sky Soars in Steam Rankings

Ambitious sci-fi title No Man’s Sky has made a remarkable comeback in the gaming world, climbing from obscurity to become the seventh biggest seller on Steam. This impressive feat can be attributed to the recent release of the Worlds Part 1 update on July 17th, coupled with a generous 60 per cent price reduction on the platform.

Just a few weeks ago, No Man’s Sky was nowhere to be found in the Top 100 grossing games on Steam. However, with the latest update and price cut, the game has managed to capture the attention of gamers and secure a spot among the top sellers.

While Counter-Strike 2 has reclaimed the number one position after a six-week absence, last week’s top seller PUBG: Battlegrounds has slipped to second place. Nexon’s The First Descendant continues to hold strong at number three, followed by Valve’s Dota 2 and Steam Deck at fourth and fifth place, respectively.

Other notable entries in the Top Ten include Elden Ring at number six, Once Human rising to seventh place, and Dead By Daylight making a significant leap to eighth place. The collaboration with Crystal Dynamics for a Lara Croft appearance in the game has undoubtedly contributed to its popularity.

Rounding off the Top Ten is Warframe, which has seen a boost in sales thanks to the Tennocon event and the introduction of new cosmetics and items. The gaming landscape is constantly evolving, with titles like No Man’s Sky proving that a well-timed update and price cut can make all the difference in the competitive world of gaming.
