Ubisoft is currently offering an enticing opportunity for gaming enthusiasts as part of its celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Ghost Recon series. For the next week, players can claim the PC version of Ghost Recon: Future Soldier at no cost through the Ubisoft Connect store. This promotion will remain available until August 13, allowing fans to add this title to their library permanently.

In addition to the free game, Ubisoft has launched a series-wide sale featuring discounts of up to 95% on previous Ghost Recon titles. This includes popular entries such as Ghost Recon Wildlands and Ghost Recon Breakpoint, which will be available for free play on both consoles and PC from today until August 10. However, this free play period is limited, unlike the Future Soldier offer, which allows players to keep the game indefinitely.
Chris Watters, Ubisoft’s senior editorial communications manager, highlighted the significance of these offers during the anniversary presentation. “If you’re enjoying the free weekend ride and want to see your mission through in Wildlands or Breakpoint, or you want to recon some of the Ghost’s past campaigns in Ghost Recon: Future Soldier or the original Ghost Recon, those games are on sale now for up to 95% across all platforms – Xbox, PlayStation, Ubisoft Connect, and Steam,” he stated.
Watters further encouraged players to take advantage of the Future Soldier offer, saying, “That is a big discount, but just between you and me, if you want to play Future Soldier on PC, don’t buy it. That’s because for the next week you can go to the Ghost Recon: Future Soldier page on Ubisoft Connect and claim the game for free. Just log in, add it to your library, and it is yours to keep. Originally released in May 2012 for Xbox 360 and PS3, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier made its way to PC shortly thereafter. The game presents a futuristic perspective on the Ghost Recon series, featuring a campaign that traverses various global locations, including Bolivia, Zambia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, and Norway. It received a favorable reception, boasting a Metacritic score of 79.
