UK-based developer Fateless has successfully raised million in funding for its highly anticipated RPG, Godforge. This significant financial boost primarily stems from the company’s dedicated community through HH Gaming, bringing the total amount raised from its audience to an impressive million.
Community-Driven Success
As Godforge gears up for its launch in the first quarter of 2026, the game is currently in its alpha phase, having already attracted 4,421 players who have had the opportunity to experience its early iterations. The enthusiasm surrounding the project is palpable, as evidenced by a recent LinkedIn post from the studio.
Simon Lockerby, CEO and co-founder of Fateless, expressed his excitement about the game’s potential. “With an already engaged and proven audience of over 2 million players across our YouTube channels, website, Discord, and social media, we’re excited and confident that Godforge will help evolve the hero collector genre for the next generation of players,” he stated.
Lockerby further emphasized the pivotal role of the community in the funding process, noting, “More importantly, the community has already expressed great belief in the game by helping us raise funds of million during our initial startup phase and was a major contributor to our latest round.”
