When a fan inquired whether his character, Matt Murdock, could be friends with Esquie, Cox was candid in his response, revealing that he had no knowledge of who Esquie was. This moment, while humorous, highlighted a broader discussion about the relationship between voice actors and the games they contribute to.
Cox’s surprise at the success of Expedition 33 was evident, as he initially needed to confirm the title of the game before expressing his astonishment. He reminisced about his time in the studio, noting, “I remember being in the studio and thinking ‘this is beautiful, the visuals are extraordinary, they’ve come a long way since Mario 64,’ which was probably the last computer game I’ve ever played.”
