Herman Miller Expands Its Portfolio with the Coyl Gaming Desk
Herman Miller, a brand synonymous with premium office furniture, has long occupied a niche in the “reassuringly expensive” market. Renowned for its iconic Aeron office chair, the company has been a staple in upscale office design for generations. Recently, it has ventured into the gaming sector, introducing chairs and accessories tailored for gamers. However, one notable absence in its lineup was a dedicated gaming desk—until now, with the launch of the Herman Miller Coyl gaming desk.
What sets this new addition apart is its independent design, diverging from the collaborative efforts seen in previous products like the Herman Miller x Logitech Embody gaming chair. The Coyl stands as a testament to Herman Miller’s commitment to quality and innovation, featuring a design that is both intriguing and functional.
The standout element of the Coyl is its distinctive coiled red power cable, which is prominently showcased in promotional images. This feature not only adds a splash of color but also serves a practical purpose, powering the desk’s electronic sit-stand adjustable-height legs and the integrated multi-socket extension cord located within the cable tray at the back.
