Arc Raiders’ New Quest: Boarding the Frigate
In the latest update for Arc Raiders, players are introduced to an exhilarating new quest titled “Boarding the Frigate.” This quest invites players to ascend to the formidable Arc Frigate, a massive flying fortress that has recently taken center stage in the game’s expansive universe. As players embark on this adventure, preparation is key; stocking up on ammunition and healing supplies is essential for survival.
The journey begins by locating one of the circular Arc drones that the frigate releases upon its arrival on the map. Adventurers can either climb aboard or use a Grappling Hook to reach the drone, which serves as a transport mechanism. Once on top, players must interact with the drone to disrupt its function, prompting it to return to the frigate and providing access to its interior.
Upon entering the frigate, players will encounter a bustling environment filled with other raiders and a host of formidable enemies. The ship is designed to be a challenge, as it unleashes Rocketeers, Vaporizers, and Hydra turrets from its upper levels. To complete the quest, players need to inflict damage on all three types of adversaries, although securing the final blow is not a requirement. For those unfamiliar with these foes, Rocketeers are large aerial units that launch rockets, while Vaporizers fire deadly lasers. The Hydra turret, equipped with multiple guns, poses a significant threat to any raider who crosses its path.
While players may have the option to engage these enemies in other locations, the frigate is likely the most effective setting for this task, particularly for the elusive Hydra turret, which has yet to be spotted elsewhere. Navigating the ship can be tricky, but players can unlock new platforms by activating switches or shooting at the yellow nodes protruding from the structure. A Grappling Hook can also facilitate quicker movement through challenging areas, allowing players to bypass certain obstacles.
