In the expansive universe of Arc Raiders, the quest for Candleberries has proven to be more challenging than one might expect, especially given their classification as a foragable fruit. Players find themselves reminiscent of earlier days when they scoured the landscape for lemons and apricots to enhance Scrappy’s upgrades. Now, however, the snowy wilderness is alive with Raiders, all engaged in a frantic search for these elusive berries. The stakes are higher this time, as prolonged exposure to the cold can lead to dire consequences for the unprepared.
When embarking on your Candleberry hunt, it’s wise to ensure you have a secure pocket to stash any berries you manage to collect. To aid you in this frosty endeavor, here’s a guide on how to successfully gather Candleberries in Arc Raiders.
How to get Candleberries in Arc Raiders
There are two primary methods to acquire Candleberries:
- Gather them from bushes: Much like other fruits such as olives, lemons, or apricots, Candleberries can be harvested from bushes during the Cold Snap map condition. Look for lush areas teeming with vegetation, particularly in the swamp region of Dam Battlegrounds or on the western side of the map near the Blue Gate. The bushes you seek are characterized by their green foliage and vibrant red berries, as depicted in the accompanying images.
- Earn them on the Gathering Candleberries reward track: This new event operates similarly to the Stella Montis event from last month, allowing players to convert earned XP into merits that progress along the reward track. By participating in this event, players can accumulate up to 180 Candleberries simply through regular gameplay.
Additionally, players can earn a significant number of merits by contributing resources to the Candleberry Banquet project. This initiative not only facilitates the collection of more berries via the Gathering Candleberries reward track but also requires just 20 Candleberries for the initial stage, a target easily achievable through event rewards and foraging during Cold Snap runs.
