Where to find the Blackshirt disguise
In the initial zone set within the Vatican, players will find that the coveted Blackshirt disguise grants access to restricted areas. However, this outfit can only be unlocked after making significant progress in the main quest. A strategic approach involves initiating the Underground Boxing Ring side quest, which conveniently provides a quest marker for locating the disguise.
The Blackshirt disguise is situated in the far southeast corner of the Vatican map, nestled within a courtyard adjacent to the Apostolic Palace. Access to this area is initially restricted by impassable doors until players advance far enough in the Vatican’s main mission.
To reach this point, progress through The Stolen Cat Mummy quest until Cardinal Antonio presents you with a bottle of wine and directs you towards the Tower of Nicholas V. Your objective will be to “Find the Underworld Gate,” ensuring not to confuse it with a similar task from the Mad Priest side quest that leads to the sewers beneath the tower. This quest unfolds into an extensive underground tomb raiding adventure beneath the Vatican.
Upon resurfacing at the Apostolic Palace excavation site, players will receive a new objective to follow a nun who has unlocked one of the previously mentioned doors. This moment introduces players to Gina, the game’s female lead, and features a cutscene showcasing a Zeppelin docking at the iconic dome of St. Peter’s Basilica.
After the cutscene, players will find themselves on a balcony overlooking a courtyard where Blackshirts are engaged in mundane tasks like laundry. Utilizing a zipline to traverse to the opposite balcony, players can descend, confront the Blackshirts, and ultimately claim the disguise. Additionally, while exploring this area, players can photograph one of the extra inscriptions for Antonio located at the far end of the courtyard from the uniform.
How to start the Underground Boxing Ring
The Underground Boxing Ring is conveniently located to the west of the main thoroughfare on the map, just north of the Borgia Courtyard, which leads to the Sistine Chapel. To access the boxing club, players should look for a doorway situated behind the stairs leading up to the Fountain of Confession. Descending the stairs will reveal the entrance to the boxing venue.
Visiting the boxing ring before acquiring the Blackshirt disguise will result in a map marker indicating the disguise’s location. Once players don the appropriate attire, they can engage in boxing matches that serve as a lucrative means to earn cash. The venue also features a dispenser for infinite healing bandages and a vendor offering combat-focused skill books, making it a valuable stop in the game.
