The Release Candidates are now available for Minecraft: Java Edition. To install this latest version, simply open the Minecraft Launcher and enable snapshots in the “Installations” tab. Please note that testing versions can corrupt your world, so it is advisable to back up your data and/or run them in a separate folder from your main worlds.

For those interested in cross-platform server capabilities, we are also preparing to remove obfuscation from Java Edition. You can access a non-obfuscated experimental version of this snapshot via the Minecraft Launcher by following these steps:

  • Download the provided zip file.
  • Unpack the folder into your “versions” directory within your local Minecraft application data folder.
  • Start (or restart) the Launcher.
  • Create a new launch installation and select the “unobfuscated 1.21.11 Release Candidate 3_unobfuscated” version.
  • Launch the game, and the remaining files will be downloaded automatically.

An unobfuscated server jar is available for download here.

If you encounter any bugs or wish to provide feedback, please report your findings through the designated channels.
