The much-anticipated 26.3 Snapshot 3 Patch for Minecraft Java Edition has officially launched, introducing an array of exciting new features that enhance the gameplay experience. Among these additions are the delightful Cushion and the practical Straw Bed, each designed to enrich the world of Minecraft in unique ways.
Cushion
The Cushion is a charming new item that players can place throughout their Minecraft world. Upon interaction, your character will elegantly sit down, adding a touch of relaxation to your adventures. Available in 16 vibrant color variants, these Cushions are crafted using 3 Wool Slabs of the same hue.
The placement rules for Cushions are straightforward:
- A Cushion can be positioned on any flat surface.
- Cushions align horizontally to the grid but sit vertically atop the supporting surface.
- Once placed, Cushions are immovable.
- If the block supporting a Cushion is removed, the Cushion will break.
- Cushions do not have collision properties and can overlap with other objects, except for other Cushions.
Straw Bed
Introducing the Straw Bed, a new sleeping option that allows players to rest through the night without altering their spawn point—ideal for those on the go. However, these beds are single-use and will automatically be destroyed after sleeping. Similar to traditional beds, they cannot be utilized in the Nether or The End. Players can craft Straw Beds in sets of four using 3 Hay Bales each.
Additionally, a new statistic has been added to the Statistics window, tracking the number of times players have slept in a Straw Bed.
Additional Updates
- Gothic language support has been added to the game.
- The Data Pack version has been updated to 110.0.
- The Resource Pack version is now at 91.0.
