Adding to the biome’s charm are the Eyeblosses, a new type of flower that exhibits a fascinating transformation. During the day, these flowers remain dormant, but as night falls, they unfurl their petals to reveal striking orange interiors, reminiscent of a predator lurking in the shadows.
However, the true highlight of The Garden Awakens is the introduction of the Creaking, a formidable hostile mob that roams the pale garden at night. This creature presents a unique challenge: when players gaze upon it, the Creaking becomes a statue, immobile and invulnerable. Fans of Doctor Who may find the mechanics familiar.
Once players avert their eyes, the Creaking springs to life, launching an attack on nearby players. To vanquish this seemingly immortal foe, players must locate its heart, hidden within the pale oak forests. Destroying the heart will defeat the Creaking, rewarding players with valuable Resin—a new resource that can be utilized for decorative blocks or to create distinctive armor trims for personalized outfits.
