Netflix continues to expand into the world of gaming, with plans to launch five new party games for TV users. These games are designed for family and friends gatherings during the holiday season and will be available on all TVs that support Netflix Games. They can also be played through simple integration with iPhone or Android devices, allowing anyone in the room to join in. While an exact release date has not been announced, Netflix has promised that the games will arrive “soon,” likely before Christmas. This move reflects Netflix’s evolution beyond movies and TV shows, as it aims to keep users engaged during family nights and compete with console titles and other gaming services. If the new games prove popular, Netflix may expand its gaming library even further next year.
