Netmarble Launches Game of Thrones: Kingsroad
Netmarble has officially launched Game of Thrones: Kingsroad, an action-adventure role-playing game licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and HBO. The game is now available on iOS, Android, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Windows Launcher, with a release spanning across various regions.
In Kingsroad, players take on the role of a newly appointed heir to House Tyre in the North during the fourth season of the popular HBO series. With three unique classes to choose from—Knight, Sellsword, or Assassin—gamers can enjoy distinct combat mechanics and skill trees that cater to different play styles. The game’s encounters are designed to reflect the complex battles seen in the show.
Based on George R. R. Martin’s source material, Kingsroad features legendary beasts like Drogon and mythical creatures such as Ice Spiders, Stormhorn Unicorns, Ironbeak Griffins, and Red Cockatrices in original battle scenarios.
The game recreates the world of Westeros on a grand scale, blending familiar locations with new environments for players to explore freely. From Highgarden to the Wall, players will encounter both well-known characters and new storylines. Key regions like King’s Landing and Castle Black are available at launch, along with expansions like Storm’s End and Felwood.
After a successful Early Access phase on Steam, the full release of Kingsroad includes all previously previewed chapters, along with new content like intense boss fights and additional quest lines.
