Arc Raiders Patch 1.23.0 Brings Much-Needed Fixes
In a welcome update for players, the latest patch for Arc Raiders, version 1.23.0, addresses several notable issues that have been causing frustration in the game. While patches typically offer minor bug fixes, this release brings a sense of relief, particularly regarding some peculiar happenings around the Medical Research room in Stella Montis.
The patch effectively curtails some unexpected gameplay mechanics, including a rather alarming bug where two Trigger Nades detonated simultaneously could inflict triple the damage, wreaking havoc in the vicinity. While such exploits may seem innocuous, they can lead to chaotic situations, especially in a game where grenade spamming is commonplace. More concerning, however, are the notorious locations within Stella Montis where players have found themselves inexplicably clipping through walls.
This clipping issue has long plagued players, turning the narrow corridors and dimly lit rooms into potential ambush zones. The latest update aims to rectify this by sealing off areas where players could be shot through the floor, enhancing the overall gameplay experience.
Additionally, the patch addresses a rather bizarre issue where players could spontaneously catch fire when approaching the locked door near Medical Research. While this adds an element of surprise, it raises questions about the allure of such a treacherous location.
For those engaged with the Flashpoint update, there’s more good news. Looting Assessors has often been a perilous endeavor, with a horde of Arc enemies descending upon players at the slightest provocation. Previous bugs had the unfortunate side effect of trapping players on the small platforms of the Assessor, rendering them vulnerable to enemy fire. Thankfully, these issues have been resolved, allowing players to loot with renewed confidence—though any subsequent demise will be solely on their shoulders.
The Arc Raiders patch is now live. Players are encouraged to restart their games if the update does not appear immediately, ensuring a smoother experience as they navigate the challenges of Stella Montis, now with fewer fiery surprises lurking around the corner.
