Nintendo Launches Official Store App for Android and iOS
Nintendo has introduced a new official Nintendo Store app for Android and iOS users in the US. This app will provide users with the convenience of browsing and purchasing a variety of Nintendo products, including Switch and Switch 2 systems, accessories, digital games, and merchandise.
Users will also have the opportunity to earn rewards by checking in on the app while visiting a physical Nintendo store or attending a Nintendo event.
The Nintendo Store app is now available on the Play Store and App Store, expanding its reach beyond its previous Japanese exclusive version known as the My Nintendo app. Users in the US, Canada, the UK, and other parts of Europe can now access the app.
In addition to shopping for Nintendo products, users can stay updated on the latest Nintendo news, receive push notifications for items on their wish list, and review their play activity. To access these features, users will need to sign in with their Nintendo account and link their Nintendo Network ID (NNID) for full play activity visibility.
One key feature of the app is that transactions cannot be completed directly through the app. Instead, users will be directed to the eShop product page on their default browser to finalize their purchases.
Overall, the Nintendo Store app offers a convenient and user-friendly way for fans to explore and shop for Nintendo products on their mobile devices. Additionally, the app provides opportunities for users to earn rewards while engaging with the Nintendo community at physical stores and events.
