Join the Green Game Jam 2024 in Orna: the GPS RPG
Northern Forge has introduced Terra’s Legacy, a new update in Orna: the GPS RPG, where players can engage in environment-friendly gameplay. By submitting real-world locations, players can help clean up polluted areas and turn them into Gloomsites within the game.
During the Green Game Jam 2024 event starting on September 9th, players will have the opportunity to explore these Gloomsites, battle Murk Monsters, and restore the environment by planting trees and nurturing Gaia apples. These apples can be used to upgrade skills and customize characters.
“We’re excited to be part of the Green Game Jam and use Orna as a platform to raise awareness about environmental issues,” says Josh O’Reilly, Marketing Mage at Northern Forge Studios. “Through Terra’s Legacy, we aim to inspire players to take real-world action and create a sense of community beyond the game.”
