Marvel and Scopely Collaborate on New Co-op Mobile Game

Marvel fans may have something new to look forward to, as a recent report suggests that Marvel and mobile game developer Scopely are teaming up to create a new co-op-focused game for Android and iOS devices. Known for popular titles like Marvel Strike Force and Star Trek Fleet Command, Scopely is no stranger to the mobile gaming world.

Industry insider Miller Ross revealed that the new game, codenamed Project Comet, is set to feature action-packed gameplay, co-op modes, and gacha systems. While details have been scarce, a leaked video from MultiverSusie showcased early gameplay footage, featuring the X-Men character Juggernaut and various in-game UI elements.

Although Marvel and Scopely have yet to make an official announcement about Project Comet, speculation is rife about the game’s potential success on both mobile and other platforms. In addition to this project, Scopely is rumored to be collaborating with CD Projekt on a new game set in The Witcher universe, focusing on co-op gameplay and monster hunting.

With Scopely’s recent acquisition of Niantic’s game development business, the company is making strides in the gaming industry. Despite the lack of official details, Marvel fans and gamers alike can look forward to what Project Comet and other upcoming titles have in store.
