Slipknot co-founder and creative visionary M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan has unveiled an ambitious new project: Vernearth, a vast Minecraft universe designed to seamlessly blend survival gameplay, creative building, player-versus-player (PVP) competition, and high-stakes seasonal challenges. This innovative platform is crafted with custom technology and unique environments, underpinned by a philosophy that emphasizes mastery and community engagement.
Core Features of Vernearth
Vernearth will be launched in stages, introducing players to four primary modes, each offering distinct experiences:
Oblivion – The Core World:
This expansive survival realm merges realism with elements inspired by the band’s signature clown aesthetic. Players will navigate through perilous landscapes, engage in battles against custom factions, and delve into the secrets of three major capital cities: Raziel, Seniomsed, and The City of Eternal.
PVP / Event Server – The Arena:
Designed for competitive players and creators, this server hosts rotating tournaments and battles across four unique arenas: The Circle Sphere, The Blood Square, The Blood Oval, and UnEden. Game modes such as Last Man Standing and Duels will challenge players, with winners earning “War” currency that can be exchanged for exclusive cosmetics.
Plotworld – The Sanctuary:
A collaborative creative mode that encourages players to build freely, merge plots, and participate in monthly contests. Exceptional creations will be showcased in the permanent Hall of Fame, celebrating the artistic talents within the community.
Challenge Mode – Vernearth’s Signature Hardcore Experience:
This seasonal mode offers a one-life-only survival world infused with Slipknot-inspired themes. Each season presents a unique challenge:
- The Heretic Anthem — a blood-red chaos ruled by a Heretic Lord
- The Dying Song — a decaying twilight realm
- Friend or Foe? — a fully randomized world filled with unpredictable mobs, loot, and mechanics
Survivors in this mode can earn exclusive cosmetics, titles, recognition in the Hall of Heroes, and a share of the prize pool.
