There’s definitely something to be said for the irony of a show about the dehumanisation of people and the use of their deaths for amusement being turned into a multiplayer battler. Yet at the same time from a purely detached perspective, it makes sense, and it looks as if Netflix has finally caught onto the fact that drawing in a dedicated multiplayer audience could keep fans coming back to their service even if they bounce off some of their streaming fare.
