Subnautica 2 Angel Comb locations

The universe of Subnautica 2 presents a formidable challenge, where the environment is as perilous as the creatures that inhabit it. Navigating this alien world requires not only courage but also a keen sense of adaptation. A pivotal strategy for survival involves discovering and integrating with the unique flora known as Angel Combs, which can enhance your abilities through a fascinating process of DNA fusion.

To bolster your chances of survival in this aquatic realm, players can embark on several strategies. One effective method is the construction of a Tadpole, a versatile vehicle that offers both mobility and protection. Additionally, players can seek out blueprints to craft advanced equipment, further enhancing their capabilities. However, the Angel Combs remain a crucial element in your journey, unlocking deeper exploration of the ocean’s mysteries. Here’s where you can locate these vital plants.

Subnautica 2 Angel Comb locations

In the early access version of Subnautica 2, adventurers can uncover a total of four Angel Combs, with the initial specimen provided during the tutorial phase. This first Angel Comb grants the ability to breathe pressurized air, a fundamental requirement for surviving the planet’s basic conditions. The remaining three Angel Combs can be found at the following coordinates:

  • Digestion Adaptation: 130 meters from the Lifepod, heading 30 degrees
  • Heat Tolerance: 205 meters from the Lifepod, heading 300 degrees
  • Axum Vision: 1,769 meters from the Lifepod, due East

While the directions provided for the last Angel Comb reference the Lifepod for orientation, establishing a base near the alien observatory is advisable. This approach simplifies the journey, as the distance from the Lifepod can be quite extensive.

For the latter Angel Combs, players must clear the bloom from each root. Follow the prominent purple tendrils extending from the main plant and utilize your Resonator to eliminate any glowing polyps encountered along the way. Notably, the Axum Vision Angel Comb requires an upgrade, so keep an eye out for Conduit Crystals as you navigate through the depths of this captivating underwater landscape.
