In addition to the thrilling combat, developer Grimlore Games has announced ongoing enhancements to the game’s loot system. The latest update introduces changes to affix tiers, ensuring that all affixes are now accessible. This adjustment means that when players discover a new upgrade, the improvements will be significantly more impactful, rather than just marginal increases.
Fraser Brown, who reviewed Titan Quest 2 during its early access launch, expressed hope that Chapter 2 would accelerate the pace of gameplay compared to its predecessor. He noted that the initial region was predominantly populated by aggressive crabs, which seemed a curious choice for a game steeped in Greek mythology. Despite this, he eventually found the game’s charm in its variety of quests and the allure of maps filled with hidden treasures.
As players embark on this new chapter, they may still encounter the Ichthians as the primary antagonists, although the hope remains that the crustacean presence will be diminished. Grimlore has indicated that this chapter will conclude the battle against the Ichthian threat, paving the way for future chapters that promise to introduce diverse biomes and an entirely new faction to challenge.
