For the past five years, the dedicated team at RPS has gathered to curate a list of what they believe to be the top 100 games available on PC. This endeavor is driven more by passion than by rigid criteria, allowing for a dynamic selection that reflects the evolving tastes and preferences of the team. With each passing year, the rankings shift, showcasing a diverse array of titles that resonate with both the team and the gaming community.
Community Participation
Having recently unveiled their current selection of the Best PC Games of All Time, RPS now invites its readers to join in the fun. Through a Google form embedded below, fans can cast their votes for up to ten of their favorite PC games. These votes will be aggregated with those from fellow readers, culminating in a community-driven list of the top 100 games.
It’s important to note how the scoring system works: a game placed in 10th position will earn one point, while a 9th place vote will garner two points, and so forth, culminating in ten points for the top choice. When submitting your votes, please ensure you include the full game title, along with the year of release if there are multiple entries in a series sharing the same nameāsuch as Doom (1993) and Doom (2016). If you’re uncertain about the title, a quick check on Steam can provide clarity.
This year, to enhance the diversity of the final list, RPS will be combining scores from game series. For instance, if one voter selects Civilization IV and another opts for Civilization VI, their scores will be aggregated under the umbrella title of Civilization. A detailed breakdown of the votes for each title will be shared, offering insights into which specific entries within a series garnered the most support.
Readers are also encouraged to share their reasons for their selections, although this is entirely optional. If you wish to elaborate on your choices, please keep your comments to around 100 words. For those with more to express, additional thoughts can be shared in the comments section once the final list is published later this year.
To ensure your voice is heard, please complete the voting form by 5 PM GMT on Sunday, December 14th.
Thank you for participating, and happy voting!
