Finding Blackbeard’s Treasure in the latest installment of Black Flag Resynced presents a unique challenge, diverging from the more straightforward treasure maps players may be accustomed to. Unlike its counterparts, this quest omits any direct coordinates, compelling players to rely on their own knowledge of the Caribbean’s vast expanse. This quest, a recent addition to Resynced, becomes available only after completing the main quest titled Do Not Go Gently. The adventure begins when Edward discovers the treasure map concealed within Blackbeard’s hat, ensuring that players cannot overlook this pivotal moment.
Where to find Blackbeard’s Treasure in Black Flag Resynced
The treasure map directs players to Anotto Bay, located at coordinates 590,245, just north of Kingston along the island’s northern coast in the Charlotte region. Upon arrival, adventurers will encounter a fleet of rival pirate ships vying for the same treasure, necessitating their defeat before safely docking the Jackdaw.
Once ashore, the pursuit of treasure becomes a more straightforward endeavor. Players should leap across the nearby boats to their left and dive into the depths, searching for a sunken mineshaft. Navigating these underwater tunnels requires skill, as players must evade sharks and sea anemones until they reach an area adorned with wooden platforms, gunpowder barrels, and adversaries. Here, players should pick up one of the kegs and transport it to the far side of the room, marked by a glowing green rubble pile, which can be revealed by holding LT on the controller.
After successfully clearing the area, players should place the barrel down and shoot it to obliterate the rubble. Continuing onward, they will eventually reach a cave where they must confront Blackbeard’s former sailing master. Following this encounter, another gunpowder barrel must be carried up the path adjacent to the waterfall, where a second pile of rubble awaits destruction.

Upon successfully navigating these challenges, players will finally uncover the treasure. However, the quest does not conclude here; adventurers must return to Great Inagua to officially complete the quest. As a reward for their efforts, players will receive Blackbeard’s portrait, a prized item that can be displayed in the loot cave area of the manor.
