Notably, this beta version comes with two distinct firmware numbers: enrolled testers using the Pixel 6, 6 Pro, or 6a will receive CP21.260330.011.A1, while all other devices will see CP21.260330.011. This suggests that Google is diligently working to resolve various issues that have emerged during the testing phase ahead of the official launch of Android 17.
Since April, users have been engaging with Google’s last scheduled beta for the Android 17 cycle, which has primarily focused on stability in anticipation of a mid-2026 launch.
