Petit Planet is exactly the Animal Crossing clone it looked like, but after 15 hours of it I’m shocked by how many new ideas it has too

Can’t find the Windrose Traveler’s Camp second chest? We couldn’t either… until we remembered a clue from another camp

In the co-op pirate survival game Windrose, players earn experience points (XP) by exploring islands and completing tasks, which include finding and opening treasure chests. The game map indicates the number of chests remaining at each location. During gameplay, the PC Gamer team found one chest at a Traveler's Camp but struggled to locate the second. A memory of a previous camp led them to search for trees with red scarves tied around them, which consistently marked the location of hidden chests. Digging at the base of these trees allowed them to successfully find the second chest at various Traveler's Camps.

How to fast travel in Windrose

In the co-op pirate survival game Windrose, players can fast travel after crafting a Fast Travel Bell and establishing Fast Travel Points. To craft a Fast Travel Bell, players need 10 copper ingots and 3 ropes. A Fast Travel Point requires 20 wood and 1 Fast Travel Bell. Players can find Fast Travel Bells as loot in shipwrecks or chests. Fast Travel Points must be placed near water and players can only fast travel between established points while on foot. While sailing, fast travel is accessible unless in combat. Players can activate fast travel from any point at sea by selecting a Fast Travel Point on the map. In co-op mode, initiating fast travel teleports only the player, leaving the ship behind. Additionally, there are existing fast travel points at faction bases like Tortuga.

Cities: Skylines 2’s bicycle update adds a lot more than just bikes, as Colossal Order prepares to hand over development to a new studio

Colossal Order is transitioning the development of Cities: Skylines 2 to Iceflake Studios. Before this handover, a new bike patch has been introduced, adding bicycles and electric scooters to the game, along with infrastructure for a bicycle-friendly environment. Players can now create dedicated bicycle paths and lanes, and various types of bike parks have been added for secure parking. The update also includes a new campfire area, business plazas, and new transportation buildings such as a train depot, railway terminus station, cargo transfer station, and three new tram stations. Additionally, two new types of wind turbines and a small cemetery have been introduced. Colossal Order plans to implement Asset Mods before the official transition at the beginning of next year, after which Iceflake Studios will take over development. The reasons for this transfer remain unclear, but Paradox Interactive has a history of reallocating projects among developers.

Stalker dev GSC Game World DMCA’d a Stalker-inspired indie off Steam⁠, and the devs are crying foul: ‘This is an abuse of power against small independent developers by a large corporation’

The indie developer of the cooperative survival horror shooter Misery announced on its Steam community hub that the game was delisted due to a DMCA strike from GSC Game World, which claimed Misery used their content without authorization. The developer, Maewing, shared an email from Valve stating the allegations and emphasized that Misery does not pose a threat to GSC's intellectual property, asserting that all content is original or legally licensed. The post also mentioned that Misery does not include any characters, plotlines, assets, or music from GSC's games. Following the DMCA claim, there was speculation about potential motivations related to the developers' alleged support for the Russian invasion of Ukraine, although this remains unverified. The Misery Discord has since implemented new moderation rules to prevent inflammatory discussions.
