GTA 6 PC release date leaks, and it’s much sooner than we thought

GTA 6 is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19, 2026. A potential PC version may be released as early as February 2027, according to claims from three individuals with alleged ties to Rockstar. Rockstar aims to release the PC version before the end of the fiscal year. Historically, the gap between console and PC releases for Rockstar games has been significant, with previous titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2 experiencing delays of nearly two years and one year, respectively. Take-Two's CEO, Strauss Zelnick, stated that Rockstar prefers to launch games on consoles first to serve the core consumer.

Why Use App-Level Auth When Every Database Has Auth? (Splunk Enterprise CVE-2026-20253 Pre-Auth RCE)

On June 10th, Splunk released an advisory for CVE-2026-20253, a high-severity vulnerability with a CVSS score of 9.8 that requires no authentication. The vulnerability is associated with the PostgreSQL Sidecar Service Endpoint and affects Splunk Enterprise versions 10 and above. In default installations, the service is not installed on Windows but is installed and enabled by default on AWS. The vulnerability allows unauthorized users to create and truncate arbitrary files through an API that lacks authentication controls. Additionally, it enables the execution of SQL commands via a backup and restore mechanism, potentially leading to remote code execution (RCE). A Detection Artefact Generator has been developed to help organizations assess their vulnerability to this issue.

Arm is bringing Android its own version of DLSS – game with Unreal MegaLights will show it off

Arm has announced that advanced rendering features like ray tracing, Unreal MegaLights, and neural supersampling will soon be available on new Android mobile devices.
