40K XCOM-like Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters is getting a sequel and this time we’ll get to purge ‘seven distinctive enemy factions’

In 1998, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate was released as a turn-based tactics game featuring the Ultramarines and Chaos. In 2022, Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters was launched, focusing on the Grey Knights and their battle against Chaos, drawing inspiration from the XCOM series. Daemonhunters received feedback regarding limited enemy diversity, primarily featuring Nurgle's minions. A sequel is announced to introduce seven distinct enemy factions. The Warhammer Skulls showcase revealed updates including a release date and DLC roadmap for Dawn of War 4, a new Skitarii class for Darktide, a platformer with a ratman protagonist, and tiger warrior DLC for Total War: Warhammer 3. Updates will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store.

One of the hundreds of Warhammer games is currently free to keep forever on Steam

The Warhammer Skulls event announced several new developments, including the release of Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Deathmaster, a 2D brawler featuring a skaven character. Bhashiva’s tiger warriors are an addition to Total War: Warhammer 3 worth the money and the wait

In 2006, the supplement Tome of Corruption introduced an illustration of a tiger-headed warrior, suggesting the existence of tiger-headed beastmen in the Warhammer World. This concept gained traction over the years, culminating in the release of tiger warriors as a playable army in Total War: Warhammer 3, which surprised many players. The new content is available as a downloadable content (DLC) pack priced at five dollars, featuring Bhashiva the White Tiger as a legendary lord in a character pack format. This approach contrasts with previous pricing strategies that faced criticism. Additionally, the Warhammer Skulls event will introduce a complimentary legendary hero, Taoyan the Merciless, for Cathay armies, enhancing gameplay and narrative opportunities.

More than 20 classic Warhammer and WH40K games just came to Steam, 7 of them for the first time ever

15 Disney titles have been removed from Steam. SNEG and Games Workshop are launching Warhammer Classics to revive beloved Warhammer games for modern audiences. The initiative aims to make classic titles accessible and compatible with current hardware and operating systems. Some games categorized as unrated include Talisman: Digital Classic Edition (4th Edition), Talisman: Origins, Chainsaw Warrior, Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of Night, and Dark Future: Blood Red States. A Steam sale is being held to celebrate the launch, offering discounts of 20% to 90% on nearly all titles.

Games Workshop brings seven classic Warhammer games to Steam for the first time

Games Workshop has reintroduced a collection of classic Warhammer and Warhammer 40K video games to Steam, marking their first availability on the platform. The titles include three from the Warhammer fantasy range: Shadow of the Horned Rat, Mark of Chaos – Gold Edition, and Dark Omen, as well as four from the Warhammer 40K universe: Chaos Gate, Fire Warrior, Final Liberation, and Rites of War.
