The highly anticipated game, 007 First Light, is set to launch on May 27. However, the project faces significant risks of being leaked onto torrent sites prior to its official release. Players who pre-order the game are granted the opportunity to start their gameplay 24 hours earlier than the general public, which adds an extra layer of vulnerability to the situation.

While developers may consider implementing the anti-piracy system Denuvo, there is currently no confirmed information regarding its use on Steam. Even with Denuvo in place, the protection it offers does not guarantee the safety of game files. Modern hackers have consistently demonstrated their ability to bypass such barriers by exploiting hypervisor vulnerabilities. As a result, technical limitations often prove ineffective against the latest hacking techniques targeting licensed software.
The reasons behind the early availability of game builds to hackers remain a topic of ongoing discussion. Key factors often cited include critical failures in pre-loading systems or the actions of unscrupulous reviewers. Even if a game manages to evade leaks before its official launch, it is likely to appear on torrent sites eventually, as pirates are adept at cracking early access versions.
