Microsoft Celebrates Progress in Windows on Arm Platform
Microsoft has recently shared an optimistic update regarding the advancements made in the Windows on Arm platform over the past year. The tech giant is particularly enthusiastic about the upcoming addition of NVIDIA to its Windows on Arm ecosystem, with the introduction of the RTX Spark SoC anticipated later this year. This development will complement the existing Qualcomm Snapdragon X platform, further solidifying the presence of Windows on Arm in the market.
Klaus Diaconu, Partner Director at Microsoft, emphasized the growing momentum in this sector, stating, “The market is sending a clear signal: more silicon providers and more OEM partners are investing in Windows on Arm because customer demand is growing for these powerful and efficient Windows devices and experiences.” He also noted that by the fall of 2026, a variety of devices from renowned manufacturers such as Microsoft Surface, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI will be equipped with the RTX Spark technology.
In addition to hardware advancements, the software landscape is also thriving. Microsoft reports that there are now over 7,000 compatible applications for Windows on Arm, which can be explored on the “Works on WOA” website.
