Microsoft has unveiled two new updates for Windows Terminal, catering to both preview testers and users on the Stable Channel. The latest version, 1.22.2702.0, is aimed at those exploring preview releases, while version 1.21.2701.0 serves the Stable Channel. In contrast to the previous update, which was heralded as a significant milestone for the Terminal, this week’s offerings focus on minor enhancements and essential bug fixes.
Update Highlights
It is important to note that Windows Terminal 1.21.2701.0 is currently accessible exclusively on GitHub. Microsoft identified a “pretty annoying hanging issue” affecting systems running Windows 11 version 23H2, prompting a temporary pause in the rollout. A remedy for the impacted users is expected to be delivered soon through Windows Update.
