Enhancements to Phone Companion
One of the key upgrades involves the Phone Companion feature in the Start menu, which is set to receive a series of enhancements. Users will soon be able to view recent activities directly from the Start menu, allowing for effortless scrolling through notifications without the need to launch the Phone Link app. Additionally, hovering over these activities will reveal more detailed information, such as complete messages or images, enhancing user convenience.
New Smartphone Flyout
In a move to further streamline smartphone connectivity, Microsoft is testing a dedicated smartphone flyout that will reside in the Taskbar’s system tray. This innovative feature will display a phone icon whenever a device is connected.
