Paint update begins rolling out to Windows Insiders

Enhancements to Paint’s Cocreator Experience

Windows Insiders are in for a treat as an update for Paint, now at version 11.2502.121.0, begins rolling out to users in the Canary and Dev Channels of Windows 11. This latest iteration brings significant improvements to the Cocreator side panel, enhancing the user experience with a more streamlined and intuitive layout.

To dive into the new features, users can simply click on Cocreator within the Copilot menu and articulate their creative vision. Whether using a mouse or a pen, artists can start drawing on the canvas, allowing the AI to generate artwork based on their input.

The update retains familiar tools such as the Creativity slider and the Select style dropdown. However, it introduces a new Try again button, enabling users to generate alternative versions of their images effortlessly. Once satisfied with the creation, the Apply button allows for seamless integration of the generated content onto the Paint canvas.

Feedback is always welcome, and users are encouraged to share their thoughts through the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Paint. The team is eager to hear from the community and looks forward to incorporating suggestions to enhance the Paint experience further.
