Update for Copilot on Windows begins rolling out to Windows Insiders with new features and improvements

Hello Windows Insiders,

Enhancements to Microsoft Copilot App

The Microsoft Copilot app on Windows is undergoing an exciting transformation, with a new update now rolling out via the Microsoft Store. This update introduces a variety of changes designed to enhance user experience and streamline functionality.

  • Native XAML app and new UI: The update features a redesigned side panel that allows users to easily initiate new conversations and access their conversation history with just a few clicks.

  • Users can now ask specific questions about their PC, such as “How do I set up a Bluetooth headset on this device?” Copilot will respond with information tailored to the user’s current version of Windows, making troubleshooting more intuitive.

For quick access, users can utilize the Alt + Space hotkey across all PCs, or the Copilot Key for those equipped with a Copilot+ PC.

This update, designated as version 1.25023.101.0 and higher, is being gradually rolled out to all Insider Channels via the Microsoft Store. As this is a phased release, not every Insider will receive the update simultaneously. The team is eager to share these improvements with Insiders to ensure that all customers enjoy an enhanced Copilot experience on Windows.

FEEDBACK: Your insights are invaluable. Please submit your feedback through the Feedback Hub (WIN + F) under Apps > Copilot, or directly within the Copilot app by clicking on your profile icon and selecting “Give feedback.”
