Bandai Namco Entertainment to Release Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Game for iOS and Android
Bandai Namco Entertainment announced on Saturday that it will be launching the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm game for iOS and Android on September 24 in Japan. Along with the announcement, a promotional video was also released.
The mobile version of the game has been optimized for smartphone controls, offering features such as auto-save, battle control mode selection, assist feature for battle controls, adjusted controls for battles and free movement, mission retry feature, changed minigame UI, and tutorials.
The game will be compatible with iOS 17 or higher and Android OS 9 or higher. It will be priced at US.99, €15.99, and £12.99.
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm originally debuted on the PlayStation 3 in 2008. The Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Trilogy, which includes the first three games in the series, was released for PS4 in Japan in July 2017 and later made available digitally outside Japan for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam in August 2017. The collection was also launched for the Switch in April 2018.
In February 2016, Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in North America and Japan. An expansion for the game, Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 Road to Boruto, followed in February 2017. The Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm Legacy collection, which includes the Trilogy and Road to Boruto, was released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC in the West in August 2017. The Road to Boruto game was later launched for the Nintendo Switch in April 2020.
Looking ahead, the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections game is set to launch for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam in November 2023.
