The Xbox App On PC Is Becoming Quicker And Easier To Use

Enhancements to the Xbox App for PC

Microsoft has rolled out a fresh update for the Xbox app on PC, currently accessible exclusively to Xbox Insiders. This update introduces several features aimed at enhancing user experience, including a streamlined way to access recently played games and a more intuitive interface for discovering new releases.

One of the standout additions is the “jump back in” feature, which was initially tested in May as part of the Game Pass tab. This functionality allows players to view their last nine games played in a compact format. By selecting any game card, users can quickly navigate to the game’s hub and dive straight into gameplay.

In addition to the “jump back in” feature, the Home screen has been revamped to showcase featured content, including the latest updates, upcoming game releases, and Game Pass offerings. This enhancement allows users to open the app and immediately see the most significant new content available.

Moreover, the update will feature curated collections of deals and discounts for games available in the Microsoft Store, prominently displayed on the home page. Personalized game recommendations will also be provided based on individual user preferences, further enriching the gaming experience.

This update is part of a series of enhancements Xbox has implemented over the past year. Notably, a June update introduced greater personalization options for backgrounds, enabling users to enjoy both dynamic and game art backgrounds simultaneously.
